With our crazy cold May and the occasional warm day we’ve been getting, the cats don’t know whether to shed or grow more fur… so we’ve had quite the loosing battle keeping up with the cat hair at chez Nana. Today I decided I couldn’t stand looking at the fur lining the cat beds ANYmore and thought it might be a good idea to wash the covers…oopsie! The covers shrunk and didn't want to fit back over the foam "shell." Now the are just lumpy and mis-shapen!
It seemed like such a good idea at the time...well...at least they are fur free (for the time being)… Zelda doesn’t seem to mind a bit (hee, hee).
I have been knitting, too….
Here are the last two dishcloths in the “set” of four I’ve been making (Peaches and cream solid in Cornflower and stripe in Country Stripes) :

Hmm...that reminds me of the disastrous results when I tried to wash Jeremy's reading arm pillow thing...bad idea. Had to get him a new one.
At least the kitties don't seem to mind. I'm sure they'll have them back to their normal furred state in no time! How reassuring is that?
Tee hee.
Hi, Denise,
Just want to say I like the look of the spa cloth very much, pattern and colors. I'm testing to see if I can get a comment through the system.

I also see you are online right now, but I don't think nanaknits is your IM name. Mine is globetrotksb on AIM.
Hi, Denise,
Exploring your blog, educating myself about same. Have to say I like the look of the spa cloth very much, both pattern and colors. I see you are online. My AIM name is globetrotksb.
Who would have every guessed the covers would shrink. But then again, maybe it just makes the bed feel more cushiony for the little kitties.
Oh, I see what you mean about the colorway on the aquaphobia socks! It looks nice, by the way. :)
